Here are projects that I have created with a goal in mind. Each section will explain the thinking behind each idea and show the process!

I started by scouring Sheck Wes's Instagram page for details and references that I thought would be important to add. I put together a color palette and layer out where everything would go. I wanted the theme to be as if he has gone through Hell and made it to Paradise.

Once I got my idea sketched up and started to lay it out, I wanted to put together branding for the album. I made this word mark by hand and added in a unique border that included stuff from his life like the buildings in Harlem where he grew up, his different chains, and heart motifs for his journey.

After producing my idea, I was able to clean it up and came up with this as the final cover. The pigeons represent New York and is a play on doves that represent peace and love. The words in the background are from a story page that he posted on his Instagram story. Overall this is one of the pieces I have been most proud of.

When I found out Sheck Wes was going to be attending a Sneaker event, I made sure to come with a full portfolio and mockups of the work, a mockup of the album cover in an actual CD case to see what it would look like, and I was able to actually talk to him super super briefly and deliver it to him. He seemed to be interested but have not

He seemed to be interested but have not heard from him. Regardless, this was a very fun project that challenged me.
